Online Shopping in New Normal Era

“52% People Choose to Shop Online in The New Normal Era”

The pandemic has forced everyone to change the way we live, socialize, and shop. Whether you're a fan of online shopping or in-store browsing, the pandemic altered routines within many industries including how, when, and where we shop and what we buy.

Before the pandemic, online shopping were not a new activity. However, due to regulations that limit physical activities or staying at home at the beginning of the pandemic, consumer behavior for online shopping has increased much more than before.

Simply by placing an order on a gadget for the desired product on an online shopping site, consumers just wait for the goods to arrive while doing other things at home. This behaviour still continues even after the pandemic, until the new normal era.

This practical value is offered by the online shopping experience. This can also be proven from the results of a quick-survey conducted by Muniyo, out of 488 people, 53% still choose to do shopping through online in this new normal era, compared to 43% of them are prefers going offline and coming to the store, while 4% of them are not much of a shopper.

Apart from saving time and energy, what are the other factors that could encourage people to choose online shopping?
